My cousin brought this to me, it has Taiwan written on the bottom.
Any one ever seen this cool looking glass thingy.

No. Looks like something Pier 1 might sell, meaning it looks pretty new

Never seen one, but if it has Taiwan on it, it's definitely more modern, most likely late 1970's to 1980's. Like Bass said, probably a modern decorative piece, probably from the past 10 to 20 years.
