Old U.S. buckle?

I can not find any information on the buckle. Your help is needed.

Measures 1 3/4" in diameter and is about 1/8" thick. two piece construction.

Thanks PBK - appreciate the promp reply. Any idea as to the age of this buckle, value?

It was found in Arizona so I'm thinking Indian Wars era.

Early 1900's - WWI, I believe. A few days ago, a pair of these and a pair of "Great Seal" rosettes from the same period (shown below) sold for $35.21 on eBay.
