Old well

I saw a post the other day about searching old wells and I decided to post a picture of a well at a foundation a hunted last year. The ground around the well looked quite unstable so I decided to not even search within feet of it.

You were wise in not getting near it. Now get some boddies an tie a line onto yourself and see what you can see down the well with a strong light. Since the picture has a cap on the well the well head pump has been removed and junk may have been tossed into it by the owners of the property. I have a friend that says to remove the cover and check it out. He collects old bottles.
