Old White's 3000D series 3, ground balance issue
I dug out my old whites 3000 which I bought new umteen years ago, and it refuses to ground balance.
If i think i get it balanced...as soon as i move it, it goes nuts.
One of the last times I used it, before i bought a 6000, i cut the cable to extend it for some underwater stuff.
I never got the housing wet.
I know the cable is shielded but would splicing the cable cause this erratic behavior?
Thanks,
Al
