OLD Woman Dozing by artist M WURTH

I recently added this oil painting to my personal collection from a second hand store purchase. The original was done in 1656 by Nicolaes Maes a Master Dutch artist. The oil painting I have is approx 250 years old. I have been told that the canvas is called hemp (?) and it is extremely dark brown. The artist signature is MWURTH. I am not able to find any information on this artist. I am hoping the experts can shed some light on this artist. I know this piece needs a good restoration in some areas but it is beautiful none the less. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
