Older foreign coins

I have a bunch of foreign coins. Some are pretty old. Some are silver too. I'm wondering if anyone has some idea to the worth if any to these. I can post some scans, but just wanted to ask first in case this isn't the place to ask. Mainly the topics here are about US coinage. Thanks.

Sounds like Whitesid probably has most of your coins covered, but if you need ID's on any earlier ones, I'll be glad to lend a hand if I can: most coins back to about 1600, and British ones even earlier— some ancients, too, although Gunner's your best bet on those. Anyway, post 'em, and we'll all pitch in!

Just ordered my third world coin book so I can take a look back to the beginning of the 1700's. I don't get to see many coins that old and enjoy trying to figure out what they are from pictures that are posted....
