I saw this thing yesterday. The wheel is cast iron and was about 4-1/2 foot in diameter. I don't think you'll be packing this thing around in the hills very easy like you would a plastic one. I'm sure it's more of an industrial stationary model. I wonder how well it worked on recovery of fine's ?

there is one of those in front of a cafe in Georgetown. it is in much better shape. I'll take a picture of it next time i'm there.

The plaque says it was used to clean up hard rock concentrates.

here's one I found up in the hills close to the bradshaw trail its old looks like it was belt driven one of thes:whip2:e days ill drag it home its 9ft in dia
