Oldest and Best Preserved Shipwreck in Adriatic Discovered Near Ilovik

Not sure what to make of this one. 80' ship found in about 10' of water and it remained hidden for more than 2000 years. It was a merchant ship, so surely they had slaves salvage any cargo on it. But you'd think they would have tried to salvage the ship, as well. The wedge construction is something I've never heard of, and I have to agree with the author that it's amazing no one found it before now. No pics, but kind of an interesting article:
