Hunting before the heat sets in this morning with Lowbatts. Hunting was slow with only a couple of wheat's and a war nickle. Hey Neil, I've now notched the silver down from a Rosie. We went for a cold soda and came back to hunt for short time. On the surface was a 1889 I.H. heads up, found some Wheaties there on the surface in the past. When they pulled stumps coins came right up with the roots. Tim pocketed a couple of goodies, in all it was slow for goodies.
1943p nickel,1937d wheat, plain copper button??

Do you remember what that nickle VDI'd & how deep?

Nice hunting!

18 or 19 and deeper than it was. Said 3-4 and was maybe 2, found a 64 jefferson right off the bat and it read about the same. I sure do find alot of nickels with the DFX

And you are still finding silver!! :o

I think you rubbed Mark's golden horseshoe! ;D

Nice finds for sure!!!

IH's on the surface, silver nickels, wow! What a cool spot!

That little bow button is a neat find, maybe even better than all the coins put together!

WTG on the Indian on the surface! Looking forward to what else you pull out of that place!

Indians on the surface that a good site to dig at. Great finds! :icon_thumright:

I am always in awe of the Illi crew ...

Next the righteous coinage will be literally popping out of the ground and into your pouch ...

Congratulations ~ Al
