I know this is technically cheating, as this is a forum for Today's Finds, but I have been extremely busy as of late. These are my finds for the last week or so, from four different properties. I have to give thanks to Vino for giving me access to one of these sites. My finds begin with my first Matron Head Large Cent, an 1822, which is in horrible shape. I have found a total of six large cents this summer, the first five were Draped Busts. I know I shouldn't complain, but that is a weird streak, you must admit. My second find was a token that looked extremely familiar, a David Mitchell's Men's & Boys clothing merchandise token, the exact same token found by Vino about two weeks ago (His token was found about ten miles away, at a completely different property. What are the odds?) My third find? Back on the Draped Bust streak, this time 1803. Then comes my first half dime, and also my first Seated, all in one... an 1853 with arrows (badly dented, not by me, but beautiful either way). Next was probably my finest find of all, my oldest silver to date, an 1823/2 Capped Bust Dime, easily a VG 30 if not for the black tarnish. The features are amazing.

I had a few day lull, until these two beauties came out of the same property, 1911 and 1913 Barber dimes. The 1913 is spotless, it has to be an AU50, you can still see mint luster.

Next was a 1824 Matron Head Large Cent, back off the Draped Bust streak.

I finished the weekend with my second ever 2 Cent Piece, an 1866.

Other notables include an elongated penny from the 1970 American Numismatic Convention, a toasted pocket watch, and a small button.
