- MINELAB E TRAC, EXCAL2,QUATTRO,WHITE 6000 DI PRO SL,EAGLE SPECTRUM,SILVER UMAX ,BANDIDO UMAX VARIOUS VINTAGE
came on my vaca detecting. brought 4 machines with me and ended up buying another . so 5.
somehow didnt bring the hip mount stuff for the excals. my silver umax 8 in coil is dead. been using the 10x12. just about as heavy as excal with it.
have been out almost evry day 4 hours min trying to feed my gold jones.
the DF has no discrim and wasnt what i wanted for beach hunting.
so i have dragged the old surfmaster 2 along the whole trip figuring i probly should have
left it at home.
BUt, here was a use for it. since it hip mounts easily.
my right arm felt almost permanently welded in place after a 7 hour beach water session yest.
so i desperately needed something very lite.
that early white ambhibian 2 coil very thin and lite. so hip mount.
i dont really like hip mount for the way it interferes when u need to answer natures call.
ill be looking into a chest mount for my excals.like johnmarkham has.
anyway took her for a spin and fired up a ok. found a few coins but no jewelry.
anyway it got me out there 4 hours as im sure i wouldnt have lasted an hour w another of my arsenal.
kinda felt special about this machine as it got me my only gold down here last year.
as u gain experiance beach water wet sand u see the need for different things.
once i get an excal mounted properly i wont need her anymore
