Just got mine in the mail today. I was doing some air tests, and with it discriminated to where lead was just starting to hit, I was maxing out at about 15 or 16 inches with a musket ball.

I was getting between 57-68 on the different bullets I tried depending on size. 25cal-44 cal.

yep they read 55- 68 in the dirt and i nice sweet sound !

Mine can hit a 1/4" lead ball 8-10" no problem. Always get a solid signal from alead bullet

Isnt the Omega the same as the f5, I read its based on the same platform, but not sure what the differences are, except
the Price is higher.

It is great at bullets or anything metal. I've used one almost exclusively for three years now.
