Nice looking new machine! It even has a back light for the screen! I was considering the Omega 8000 or the Macro Racer but now this one has piqued my interest. If this machine is less sensitive to EMI than the 8000, this will be at the top of my list for sure! Thanks for sharing, Phantasman!

Thanks NewfieHunter. WOW, Newfoundland. Bet it's beautiful up there. Closest I made it up to you was Cape Breton's Cabot Trail or Charlottetown, PEI.:occasion14:

Hi Phantasman!

It is nice here and cool during the summer...Winters not so nice but sometimes can detect during the month of January! lol....No snakes, skunks, ticks to have to deal when detecting either! My girlfriend who is a huge country fan always wanted to visit Nashville..:occasion14:

Here is a link for the owners manual for the Omega 8500...

Hey Thanks. Nashvilles a swinging town. About 3 hrs from me. If you come this far, Gatlinburg is another nice place.

The Multiple Target Category System seems neat. Never seen that before.

Any news on the release date?

Soon............lol.
