Picked up a ladies omega watch tonight at a local auction. Paid $2 for it... I knew it was an omega as soon as I saw it. I didn't know it was 18k. Gold. No marks outside. Inside is marked 18k and 750. Definitely worth 3-5x melt value of the gold. I'll be listing for $500 on eBay in the next few days. I also picked up a pile of stuff to flip at flea market cheap. And some foreign coins and found this mixed in along with about 15 Indian head pennies, a few v nickels, a large or two, and some other american clad. Congrats on the Omega score!

The counterstamp coin I've had a $50 offer on already. And it's not listed yet. Good day for me as I also picked up $125.00 worth of gold. Plus some misc costume to sell at flea.

Nice watch. I guess everyone missed the gold marks! Good for uou

I separated the jewelry before hand (I set up the auction lots for them jewelry wise) and I missed it. Not marked on the outside. All marks are inside.

Is that a diamond bezel on the watch? If so, the bezel alone could add more value to the watch. I can't tell because of the reflection.

As far as I can see it's not.

Counter mark is listed as H-47 in thenMerchant and Privately Countermarked Coins book. It is unknown as what the initials stand for. As far as value it will be pretty hard to guess. In the past I used to just list it as an auction and let the buyers decide the market value.

Thank you! It hasn't been seen by public yet. I've been told I'd have no trouble getting $65 minimum for it.

Nice buys. Thanks for sharing...

Sold the omega Saturday for $275. Nice 1000% plus profit.

Ive picked up a few nice watches that were sold as gold filled but turned out to be 14 or 18K. Sometimes they only mark the inside back of the case and sellers aren't comfortable opening them up too look.
