Its a older version. .I can just hook it up to the pc.and up date it correct?? Anything I should know about this detector? Setting. Or anything would be great. .

Yes, you can update the firmware. I'd suggest you get Andy's XP Deus book, read it and then ask questions. There are hundreds of threads and videos dedicated to this detector. It isn't like other detectors...

The manual really isn't great. Spend the $20 for Andy's book. Worth 5 times that to me. Videos on youtube are also a fantastic help.

+1,on Andy's book it'll explain in depth a way anyone can learn the machine ive had mine for a while found great things deep to so make sure u got a nice shovel lol Congrates on the new toy
