All Treasure Hunting
Hit the low tide slopes earlier today for about 4 1/2 hours. Man it was a target bonanza! I couldn't take a step without getting a hit, clad everywhere! Pulled a total of $20.27 in clad. Towards the end of my hunt I pulled a nice 5.4 gram 14k ring w/ice & pink stones (stones test good) and a small silver ring. Most of my trash today consisted of crusty pennies and bobby pins. Gonna have to give it another go tomorrow for sure. Thanks for looking, HH!

great score on the ring

Beautiful ring! Curious about the bobby pins.... Don't they give a null tone?

I mostly run my Sov. GT in All-Metal/Pin Point mode in the wet sand, I just feel I get more depth and recovery time seems faster in this mode. Every once in a while I'll switch to discrimination when I cant handle to trash anymore.

Good day! Congrats!

That's a beauty, Dave!:hello2:

I love the style of that one

Lorraine

That's a beauty! Have you had a lot of storms?

Nice finds Dave, congrats!

Red Said you can Loose that One Again Here In Vancouver!!! LOL Chug

That ring looks good at every angle.
Real Nice.

Indeed!

So...stupid question though this is...you can MD where it's wet?

Surprise! You're in the beach and shallow WATER page of the Metal Detecting Forum! So... in a word- Yes. Good luck... Yak

Ok, thanks, my mistake. I had gotten it into my head that wet conditions somehow interfered with signal, but obviously not!

Hey Butter Hat, For the beach wet-sand your gonna need a machine that can handle the minerals and black sand, otherwise your gonna get a lot of "falsing" and also you wont get much depth..

They do. You're right, but there are ways around that... Didn't mean to come off snarky. My bad. Don't let anyone abbreviate your name, BTW! :laughing7: Yakker
