So Monday and Tuesday I got absolutely skunked, no clad, no pennies, no cool relic things, nothin’. So today I got to a weird place near some railroad tracks just to enjoy the day. I get a 8” 24-25 on my Nox so being all excited that I may have found a clad dime or even a wheatie I dig my plug, 20 minutes later, I’m left with this pile of 107 Memorial pennies😒, it was fun to dig and there might be a few wheaties in there. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it😳

dang, that must have been a roll or something lol

most coins in 1 hole i've gotten is like 12

Looks like they're copper and not zincolns. Coulda been a lot worse!

In the 80's I found a roll of clad dimes and that was before pinpointers. It took a while to find them all but sure enough, there was 50.

The ones I could see dates on puts them in the mid 1960’s. They’re still soaking

Lol, never found THAT many in 1 hole before. Thanks for sharing.

That's quite a pile of coins! Wouldn't you love to know how they got there! Cool find!

Why couldn’t it be 107 cap bust dimes??

There was an old homesite in the woods near my place in Ak i was hunting my favorite venue, The Woods lol. Near this old tree i started banging in Copper cents as i remember there were over a hundred or so they are still in a jar at my home, the newest was 1953 the oldest was 1918 i think......

Yup looks like someone lost a roll or two ...:icon_thumright:

Congrats Joe, that's got to be some kind of record! Wonder if there's another pile of coins there too?

Cool finds! Glad you were out and about. Thanks for sharing.:icon_thumleft:

dang, that's crazy

Tough luck buddy but great find. I know it was fun.:icon_thumright:

They may have only been pennies, but it sure was better than digging 107 separate holes ! Get them all out of the way in one shot like you did !

I think I’ll go back with my big coil and see where the dimes and quarters are

Nice! Nothing wrong with that! Could just have easily been a pile of gold coins. You just never know.
