What's the size on that piece, looks like an old lamp base.

It is a flanged wingnut. I was thinking maybe like for a air filter cover. Not really sure. found it next to a driveway. The outer circumference is quarter, maybe half dollar size and doesn't seem to be flat but a little convex on the bottom.

Weird find speaking of bottle tops, good signal along with sketchy...? Knocked the dirt out and ...walla!
