ONE MAN'S JUNK IS ANOTHER MAN'S GOLD!!!!

They say that ONE MAN'S JUNK IS ANOTHER MAN'S GOLD and I am here to prove it. What "junk" do you through away that can be another man's gold? Think about it as you look at these SAVES.
You could be tossing some gold! Frank
pictures-Ambergris was a blob of material I found on the beach, actually whale barf!
-Angel of the sea was a scrap of unknown metal that resembeled a madellion!
- The ax head was a rusty block of iron!
- Heart lock was a corroded brass lock I found under a pile of cow droppings in a barn!
- Image#253 is an old narrow gauge break shoe found beside the track!
- This I believe is a bronze clutch pad from the narrow gauge!
- This is a spike from the Ma&Pa RR!
- Moon Struck is a burned disk with attached debris from a barn fire!

Come on you guys. Some one else must have pulled a save. Let's see what you did with it.

The overwhelming majority of the members of Tnet could care less about viewing iron. Thats why I don't post my finds anymore. The ax head, brake shoe and rr spike are what I find in the woods and have brought home. You have a unique way of displaying your finds. Very nice.

Re: ONE MAN'S JUNK IS ANOTHER MAN'S GOLD!!!!

I have found a lot of RR spikes. I bring them home and at the end of the year I scrap them out. I also go around on big trash day and see what kind of treasures I can find.....Matt

Mlayers, Those RR spikes make a good display that sells for $50. and they are of a high grade of steel. I once knew a blacksmith that made high grade knives from them. Frank
