This is a pickup I made a few weeks back. I tried a new source on a hunch I had and it worked out well.

These are not CWI rolls. I think they are Brinks but I am not sure. I don't get Brinks rolls here so I am not familiar with them. They came in a bag kinda like a rice sack.

Anyway when I got home with the bag I just started pulling one roll out of the bag at a time. I started pulling good quantities of silver with alot of Walkers. Some of the rolls had Walkers showing. I finally came to a point where I said to myself.....xxx xx x xxxxx and just stopped and pulled the balance of the rolls out of the bag to see how many were left that had Walkers showing. At that point I had a good bit of Walkers already. I took a picture of the rolls that had Walkers and or silver showing with the Walkers I had already pulled.

It was weird because some rolls had as many as 24 coins in them and some had as little as 17. I didn't keep track of how I came out because at that point I didn't care.....ha!

The total count on the Walkers were 120. I also found an 1893 World Commemorative in the batch. I don't remember the total silver coin count.

I ordered more the very next day and that batch produced 21 more Walkers along with a some 40% that looked like they came straight from the mint.

Here are the pictures......enjoy........

LJ, you are not the kind of person who would play an April Fool's Joke on us.
I'll bet your hubby is very proud of you.
Keep up the good work. Jim

WOW! I missed you posting things like this LJ. Do you carry around a bag of horseshoes, 4 leaf clovers, and rabbit feet when you go CRH? :tongue3:

I can guarentee you it is no April Fools. She sent me those pics a few weeks back when she found them. You go girl.

Absolutely incredible.

Congrats
Cat

Alright, I admit it... I am impressed.

I've already fallen for 2 April fools posts today, but I'm thinking, this must be real

Congratulations

LJ - wow, I can't get over those pictures. That just seems unimaginable. Buy as much as you can from that source as fast as you can!

Is that an old Canadian half in the mix too!?

Congratulations!

Brian

Holy %%%^% look at the Walkers on the ends of the rolls ...Wow LJ that must have been a awesome rush to see them like that 8)... what a incredible stash of silver ...congrats ... HH

Gawdahmighty, LJ......

That's an impressive pile.

Mebbe I should do a Looooeaseeanna road trip.....

Pickins seem much better there than in Jawja.....

Uhhhhhhhhhhh....hmmmmmmmmm...seeing as we're sharing finds, my box yesterday had a 64 and 4 of the 40%ers in it. :-\

Whoa!!!!!
I can't believe that.
Amazing!!
Congrats, LJ!!

Thanks all. I have exhausted that bank of all of those type rolls that were sitting in vault. I still order from them but now they are CWI rolls which is from the same source as my regular pickups.

It was fun while it lasted though.

I'll post another good one tonight from a road trip and a pickup earlier this year (Feb I think it was).................after I go through todays pickup....

Nobody said, but I kinda/sorta thought I remembered you hitting the banks in the Big Easy....

Then again, I'm gettin' old, and suffer mightily from CRSS ~~ "Can't Remember Squat Syndrome"

Still an impressive pile there. Way to go.

Thanks Wayne....now stop it. BTW - I was late in getting your package out, but you should be receiving soon.

Holy sh__t. I've had luck like this with the same tan and white paper rolls (I think), but that happened nearly two years ago. 70 plus walkers, over a hundred Franklins...thirteen rolls worth, including silver Jacks. I didn't expect anyone to have this kind of success anymore. While I'm envious, I enjoy looking at the pictures, as I get some vicarious satisfaction from doing so.
