I'll be lookin' out for your recoveries with the new setup. My Fisher F75 went back to the shop in under a year due to bad output on RCA stereo, but it also got the new software upgrade while out. I never missed a beat though, a fellow detectorist, who wasn't able to get out loaned me his new F75 for a couple weeks.

My detector is the first series Whites Gold Master. My grandfather gave it to me when he passed away. Its a good one to start with I guess. I have learned to use it well. But to have a trigger on the newer ones to eliminate the gold from the iron would really cut time in half. Good luck to your new locator.
