One of the last hunts for 2022

Got off work at 1pm, no grandkids to watch today, temps in mid 60s.... guess what I did for a couple hours? Hit the Civil war spot I dug the heel plate and big penny last week. 5 Buttons, including an awesome Eagle I cuff (look at the gold on that sucker!!). Theres also two of the Locomotive overall buttons (found together), a broken tombac button, and a smashed coat button that I cannot identify (maybe a civilian button used as a poker chip?). A knapsack stud and a book clasp round out today's keepers. Any help ID'ing the smashed button appreciated.

What a beautiful button!. I'm always amazed when they clean up that well. BTW- you still have about 29 hours left before year-end. Better get out there and find some more goodies. Cheers!
