Yes, they are commonly on dark transparent glass that looks black until you backlight it. Then you can see brown, blue, olive green, sometimes even purple.

When I first looked at this one I could not see the transparency even when backlit. Must need new contacts or something b/c when I looked again (without my contacts in), there it was. Do you have any purple based ones?
