Found 1 point from tonight’s hunt. Within the first 10 minutes, nothing else for the next 3 hours.
That’s a rough one, not much chipping in the edges. Might be an older one that has worn down a bit, or it was roughed-out and not finished. Either way, nice find.

Looks great on my screen . Not sure what state you found it in but looks like Coastal Plains chert and definitely a field find.
When I first find one in the start I always say this is going to be good. But it usually ends up just like you described. Maybe next time you will find more.

I went back out after I refueled and put some warmer clothes on. I found 1 more, and this thing has been beat to a pulp! I’m guessing this one is ancient.

Might be Rhyolite which weathers faster than most materials. Doesn’t have the shape of a old point from what’ I can tell. Still a good find.

Nice finds. Congratulations.
I hunted Montgomery County like crazy back in the 90s. Found some nice relics. A few doves, nice Harrison county drills. The two broken birdstone parts.
Some good times.

Alot of times I wouldn't find anything for hours and within the last 10 minutes find a point or 2. Nice find 👌

The very definition of 'Kiss of Death'! (sadly) Nice point, tho!
