One ringer bullet help identifying ...???

I found this fired one ringer bullet at an historic place. Can someone please let me know what I have found ..... How old what era ect........

If you have a mic,mic it out.Looks to be either a .38 or a .45 FMJ unfired.

can u tell from what era ...year?

Pretty tough to see the rifling grooves in it thats why i said unfired.If its a bullet from a .45 ACP(automatic colt pistol) it dates 1911 to present day.
