Been working a lot, but managed a quick 30 min hunt before dark. It was cold, getting down to freezing, tonight it's going to be -10

But, it only takes a tiny little coin to warm a guy up! I found one coin tonight, 1907 fish scale, my 4th fishy for the season. This baby was deep, 8 inches. It was a mixed signal, hitting around 55 to 60, lower than any other fishy I have found. I thought it was going to be a deep buffalo nickel, or maybe another shell casing. HH

Pretty silver! Sterling right?

Very nice early date find. Rather in Canada or the USA, silver has the same meaning. Any chance you can hold the winter weather up there for a couple more months, I'm still having fun metal detecting. Good luck mate.

Awesome fishscale! I have found a few, but not an Edward one. Great job digging that deep signal!:occasion14:
