One tough deep crack that produced good gold on top.
Any suggestions on how to get to the bottom of this one???
The water mark shows the depth.

Hi Get a 6 foot piece of 1 inch flexable plastic pipe and fill one end with semi wet sticky clay. Clay is very adhesive when not to wet. The flexable pipe will bend with the angle of the hole. Remember not to leave the clay in any water for too long . Gold is highly adhesive too clay.Simple easy way without busting your arse.

I was in the auto parts store the other day and saw a small electric pressure washer. When I saw that I thought of this thread. If a person could find a way to set one up to use before the sucker pump to loosen up the material in the crack it may work better. Also was thinking if there was a way to build a small dredge like nozzle at the end of the long wond that would work off the pressure from the pressure washer that would fit down into the crack :dontknow: :icon_scratch:.A person would have to find a way to pump water to the pressure washer and also have the generator to run it. Just a thought....

Hefty, a friend of mine took a golf club shaft and welded a small spoon on the end so I could get down deep into cracks just like that. It works very well. Just bend the sides of the spoon to get deep.

I know who this is!

:icon_thumleft: Going after this sucker in the mornin.
Many tools taken with. Will post pics.

Go rent "The Jaws of Life" spreader with the built in hand pump. It can exert several tons of force, and can get into small cracks!

Not yet, last trip up there, had bear problems. :angry5:

Have not given up on that one.

Bears, they think everything smells fair and is worth taste or two. If not, just another play toy to toss around. I have seen my share, or more.

They don't like ammonia (straight up) or being shot, if that helps.
