Because whomever brought his AK-47 rifle to the game lost the rear sight. :icon_scratch: It is stamped "A47" on the reverse. Real or Toy? The sliding spring-loaded lock functions.

When I first dug it, and until I got it home and cleaned it, I thought it was the bottom of a toy tractor! I believe the elevation indicator, shaped like an upside down "U", is Russian. Please feel free to correct me, brothers and sisters. Irony is, this was in a very nice park/sports complex in a good neighborhood. You just never know...

Also collected a wee bit of fun flotsam and jetsam from this park and another.

Added $7.00 in clad to the charity fund too! Lots of digging in soft soil made my day, even though there were no banner finds. Happy Hunting to all, Sub 8-)

Thanks for sharing!

Sweet finds you made. Congratulations!

Awesome find Lance. Looks like the real deal to me. If it is metal and heavy, I'd assume it's real.

Congrats on a really unique find.

It is heavy metal, so probably real and not from an Airsoft rilfe. Thanks Tom!
