Only 3' of snow so far....

We have had more snow so far this season than we have had in the last 3 years put together. Clean up is getting old, but it's fun to play in, when was the last time you made a snow angel? (no pictures ) The hubby has been way busy taking care of the snowmobile trails . He deserves to have a winter like this, it's been a while .

Funny, it was in the upper 50's most of last week, things had melted quite a bit, there was actually a bare spot or two. Ahhh it's going to be another big storm on Thursday, no fear of thawing out before July .

You would think all those dang cars would clean themselves by now ?

CG, you got to love it or leave it and you and hubby must love it. I don't think we have seen 3 feet of snow total here in last 5 years. Still bare ground and green grass, the only measureable snowfall in Atlantic City region was 4 inches on December 4th, and that seems like eons ago.

It really is rather nice to have a good old fahioned New England winter, this is the way it should be. You wouldn't think about it much, but it really does help the economy big time. So....let it snow!

Oh, how I want some snow

Here's a pic of my kids during the last GREAT snowfall we had here in Virginia Beach (this was a Bay effect snowfall...).

This was 3 January 2002....we are so overdue!!!

I was here (Virginia Beach) on 1 March 1980 for the snow blizzard as well in NYC when the 1978 snow blizzard hit....I want a good snowfall....come on SNOW GODS!!! DUMP US WITH SNOW!!! (Please?)

Oh there is plenty to do in the snow, once your done shoveling. But sometimes it is nicer to stay inside .

Ann look out you may just get what you wish for. I hope you do. I love watching the kids play in the snow, Those rosey red cheeks when they come inside for cocoa are priceless! Here is to your wishes to come true.

Hope ya'll have lots of fun too in that soft, white wintery stuff!!!!

But the funny thing about snow...it will snow all around us...but not at the beach!!! Go Figure!!! LOL

I'll join you in that plea to the snow Gods. We moved down here from PA in May of 2003. Our last christmas there we had 2 feet of snow. Since being down here we have seen maybe an inch at best.

OMG CountryGirl....thanks!!!!!!! We GOT SNOW!!!!!!! Seriously....we did...however, when I did the SNOW DANCE and prayed to the Snow Gods...I forgot to mention how long I wanted it to snow and how deep....LOL!

It was awesome...I was at work and then around 3 pm ... I had to pick my son up from school...it wasn't snowing then...sky was blue...then about 3:25 pm...heading out the door to go back to work and it was coming down GREAT!!!!!! It was even sticking....but that too...did not last long! Oh well....guess I'll have to pray a bit harder and be more specific in my prayers

UPDATE w/ photos: Ok...no more snow...but I had to show you these from today!!! My dau is home on leave from Guam, she was not so excited about the snow...on the other hand, my youngest was!!!! If it continued to come down like that...it would have been awesome...but this was a very short lived SNOWSTORM LOL!!!
