Spent 2 hrs a new field today only got 5 dig-able targets 1st target was a buffalo nickle looks like its dated 1918 2nd target was a bullet not shown 3rd target was the buckle hope someone can date it i'm guessing 1840-1870 4th target was the indian not sure of date and last target was a shotgun shell but the field still holds some promise and thanks for looking

That IH looks a little rough but still a good fine , looks like your in a good area, hope your luck holds up :hello:
 

I would say buckle may date from late 1600's to early 1700's
guts are usually how they can be dated better - but yours looks similar
to one of mine that is that old

Looks a little small for a belt buckle......your in Mass......it could be earlier like from the Pilgrim era,.a shoe buckle ??? ???
