Anyone know the laws about detecting in Ontario's provincial parks? Im from Manitoba and thinking of doing some hunting up near Kenora this spring.

Not sure, I got my first dectector for Xmas, but I would like to know more too. Maybe an exclusive CDN site might have more people that could answer.

Wow! Surprised anyone responded. I've read up recently on laws in Ontario and apparently they have no laws that restrict metal detecting, so this summer I'll definitely be going and hitting some Ont provincial lakes and beaches to detect.

Yeah, could bring some good finds. When I hunt campsites I turn my sensitivity down low i just like getting those shallow recent drops. Too much trash for me to be digging 6 inch holes in campsites.
