i have large opal lease held now for 20yrs due to health i retired to thailand about 11yrs ago where i live now
iworked and drilled claim to bring up top opal then worked 10% of area years ago leases around mine produced
many millions of opal it is open cut mining in outback of Qld i believe would make a better tv show than ones seen on tv now
iwould give 70%to any one and show where opal is any ideas cheers allan

It is not hard in a profitable mining area to lease property for a percentage...usually less than 20%.It would appear you are after 30% so a lease is prolly off the table.!! 11 years and no takers.I suspect you have a bit of an uphill battle there.

good luck and sure hope you get twice the going rate.
