OPEN HUNT?

I am new to the metal detecting hobby. I have heard of open hunts where you pay to go to a place that is sure to find civil war relics. My son is also getting interested in the field and I was thinking about taking him to one. Anyone know of any in the Virginia?

there are several but you can find one at the Treasure spot. It is called Diggin in Virginia but there are no guarantees you will get a spot when you sign up. It is "invitational".
