Greetings, Here is one from an email and it doesn't say who wrote it. You will be surprised at what he
saw that changed his mind. His message is as follows and then his pictures.

Last Saturday was opening day of bow and arrow season for deer.

As I approached my deer stand, I gawked and took some pictures and decided to go home and mow
the grass.

Looks like the bear is taking a firm stand against hunting. :laughing7:

He does look down on it. Doesn't he? :laughing7:

I wonder how long he stayed up there before he just couldn't stand it anymore? :laughing7:

to bad it wasnt bear season

Instead of taking pictures of the bear I would have looking around for whatever chased him up there :o

If there's one thing I hate worse than mowing, it's wrestling bears.

Kentucky Kache, Yup, wrestling him could get rough, but then if he started boxing, it would really get rough.

If it was bear season, that poor bear just wouldn't be able to bear it. Also if it WAS bear season he would be
a sitting duck and no decent self respecting bear wants to turn into a duck. :laughing9:

Jeff, from what I saw on the 6:00 news, there were 6 or 7 that were taken to the Detroit Zoo and the rest were
shot and buried on that property. They would make some nice trophies of Mounts or skins. An awful waste there
just burying them.

Savant He probably saw it up there and climbed up to investigate and discovered he could sit on it. It makes a
pretty good perch with a nice view of the area as long as he doesn't move around too much which might make him
lose his footing and fall. He probably wouldn't like that sinking feeling or the sudden stop. :laughing7:

Thanks for all of your good replies

he is deer hunting too he forgot to tell you about using your stand,, guess you figured that out :laughing9:

I've heard of "gorilla" stands before but bear stands? --yep yer stand has been "weight" checked and passed the test -- well it does answer the question ---does a bear sit in the woods. clearly yes he does.
