I have broken a few of these as they are so brittle now
I think you had a lot of leverage when the bone was green

glad you guys understand
it is kind of like using the box end from a box end wrench when more leverage is needed

the reason I used a small branch for the demonstration is that I have broke several trying this with thicker pieces

the bone get more brittle as it gets older
