Opinions needed best for $$$

OK, I'm a newbie but I have got bit really hard and want to find the best detector for coin hunting. Suggestions?? I'm not worried about the learning curve, I'll learn it no matter how long it takes. Looking to spend in the $1K mark. I'm currently using a White's 6000 DI pro sl. Thanks.

You could save your money because you have a detector that can shoot coins very well. Maybe just buy a small coil for it.

Khouse is right about your detector being fine. But if your like me and just want another one, check out the Minelab Explorer SE or Whites DFX.
