What is your opinion on the 9.5" x 5" HF coil?
Are there problems with ground balancing on iron / magnetite soils?
What are the hot spots of the coil?

Thanks.

I've had that coil for 3 weeks, and it's worked really well. Here in northern Nevada, we have mineralized soil, and a simple ground balance is enough. Plus, I search in areas full of rusty cans and lots of nails, and even so, I find plenty of relics and sometimes silver coins. At least for me, it's better than the standard 9-inch coil.

Wow that sounds good. The option of the standard 9" coils is not running at the same frequency.
Ground balancing will be a key for many out there for reasonable usage.
Thanks.
