Orange peel Ball Product Jar

I Recently pulled a couple of these From a jar dump where I am pulling 1900 - 1920s Ball and Atlas Fruit jars. This Jar has no embossing except the orange peel around the base and around the neck. It also features a double shoulder ring for sealing (I suppose). Has anyone any information on this Jar. It Has Ball in cursive on the bottom. and looks to be over another trademark. I included a quart jar for comparison.

I found This Jar on the net. Its a spittin image of the one I dug except mine has no handle lugs. Maybe mine used a wire around the neck in the groove to attach a handle?

I'm thinkin my jar is either before the handle nubs were added or a accusition jar and were taken off. Mold seams stop at neck.
