Ordered Prizm III & Funny Story

Hi all,

Well I bit the bullet and ordered a Prizm III!

There's a funny story, at least I think so, attached to this.

I decided to call a dealer near to me to ask some questions and the first one listed was in Tacoma, but when I called no one answered. So I called the 2nd Tacoma one listed and talked to a nice man named Larry and I told him that when I ordered I'd like him to get credit.

When I went to order online it said it needed my zip code for the nearest dealer to get credit but that was the one I didn't reach, and I wanted Larry to have the credit.

So I called White's 1-800 # and got a woman right in Renton in my state and I told her about it and she knew Larry and would make sure my order was credited to him.

The funny part is, I told her about not being able to reach the 1st dealer in Tacoma and as it turns out, it was HER BROTHER. It seems he's just setting up his business. I just thought that was a riot. Talk about a small world!

Hope to recieve my MD soon and since next week my niece has school off, I hope to go detecting with her ASAP!

Welcome to the forum Sonja! I bought my DFX from the dealer in Renton also. I couldn't wait to order it, so I drove down to pick it up! The shop in Renton seems to be the main dealer in Washington and there are at least two people there that are really well qualified to sell the units. Lots of knowledge and very nice to do business with. They also have many accessories there as well. Welcome to Treasure Hunting and keep us informed of your finds! We love pictures!
