This isn't gonna help much, but bought my grandson one for his first detector. At Gold Basin, gridded a 10'x10' area and cleaned it w/ my 4500. Thought I found a pretty clean area. Planted 4 bullets and a test nugget on a business card. When I gave it to him, showed him how to GB and what to do. He couldn't find the nugget, but found 5 bullets! I went over later and finally found the nugget for him. All targets were about 4-8" deep.

Thanks for the reply. How would you say it compares to the MXT for nuggets?

Better than the MXT. I would not pay more than $150.00 for it IF it is in PRISTINE condition. Why not get a used Lobo Super Traq, Fisher Goldbug II, or Whites GMT?

Thanks Terry, that's the answer i was looking for. I have been looking for a good deal on a used gold machine. Guess i will keep looking.

I have a Diablo II that I got in perfect condition off of Ebay for $190. Sent it in to Tesoro, they tuned it up, now it works like it was new. It uses the same coils as the original Lobo, but the real problem with these machines that use these 20Khz coils is they are very hard to find. There are three elliptical DD and three elliptical concentric, I would love to get my hands on a couple of those concentric coils.

I think I may have a coil. It is 10" elliptical with 4 pin male connector. I purchased it used before I realized it was for original LOBO. I can't use it, will let it go cheap
