Got out for a bit today, not much finds though. Spent most of my time cleaning out trash.

The area does have several very old trees and near to one of these I found this little chain. I've rinsed it but haven't tried to clean it much. The lighting I used for the pictures doesn't really show it but most of the links have a green patina to them. It's not magnetic and came out pretty much as you see it, the links are loose except where there is a knot. I'm thinking, maybe an old wrist decoration because of the close knit links. But, maybe it's just a light pull?

Comments welcomed.

Probably a fob watch chain

Plated brass or copper possibly

Thanks guys, both sound about right. I hadn't thought of a watch chain.
