I spent time at 2 sites yesterday ....both being rural & 1 is a house site that was there in 1936 ( may be older) ,but I can see it on 1936 aerials. They appears to be mechanical & all but the longer piece is brass .

Bottom pieces are still ,clock frame and pocket watch parts.

The items at the top look to be antique engine related. The long piece looks like a valve guide with part of the old valve stem still in it. The round flat part with the short shaft is probably a popit valve or check for some type of pump. I thought the other piece with the hole could be a guide, but the octagon shape makes me wonder. Tony

Tony in SC .....I find the octagon piece the most interesting ........both ends have (4 or 5) steps spiraling to the end & the steps are on the opposite side from each other. Thank you for your input & sharing your knowledge.
