Ottoman Love Token?

Hi,

I recently acquired this coin/love token in a miscellaneous lot. I am not sure what it is or how old it could be. It seems to be made out of brass and it is very small. Any insight into what it could be is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that it's a coin replica for a 'coin scarf' like what goes around the waist of a belly dancer
