We finally scored our first permission! I have eyed this place for a long time! We are so pumped! Went out yesterday for a few hours and found a lot of iron, a couple center caps and a mystery locked box! The place has been here over 125 years but has been detected they said. Bob found a great token from Brunswick-Balke-Collender but it's pretty toasted. Had a great time! Sadly, when were finally able to get the box open today, only dirt inside. 😔 Maybe next time!

I find it difficult these days to knock on a strangers door.
There is so many places with much history but it will have to wait for better times

Actually just called the owner. Found the owner on a property app and found his number googling his name. I was shocked he didn't want to meet and just gave us permission! Just abandoned overgrown property but my new favorite park! 😊 And beautiful irises in bloom there now!

Lol! I think that buckle was Bob's favorite find of that hunt! He will be thrilled to know someone else appreciates it!
