Our first Treasure Hunt. In addition to the below 1935 wheat penny, we found golf balls, a wrench, a brass hinge to a lost treasure (lol), numerous crushed cans, pipes, stove grate, fencing, hanger, trash, and quite a few bottle caps. The penny and the wrench are the big find. We learned about sticker bushes and drew first blood. All in All we had fun.

Congrats on a challenging hunt.
Cuts, scratches, bumps, bruises, sore muscles, and cramps.
Yep,, that's what makes it so much fun. lol

I like digging oddball stuff like those, there is a story to everything and I sometimes think of how these things got there. Them sticker burrs are aggravating to remove.

Boys will be boys. Congrats on a day out and Good Luck on your next outing

You'll need to get a few more hunts under you're belt before planning on a retirement fund...

Having fun is what it is all about. A man can never have to many tools. Good story and finds.

I got such a big smile on my face from reading these replies. Thanks.

Looks like you had a fun time. Let the competition ( with your brother ) begin !!

We can't figure out how to split that penny into thirds. Wait...if we sell it for 30 cents we each get a dime!
