I received this 1896 lithograph from my great uncle for Christmas. It depicts General Lee, Jackson and Beauregard in the center. They are surrounded by Confederate generals with their signatures below their portraits, and have the four Confederate flags around them.It originally belonged to my great great granddad. From what I gather his father joined the 6th Reg of V.A. Calvary then transferred to the 8th Reg of V.A. Infantry with the rank of Private. It is now one of my most prized possesions. The original is in the vault of the Library of congress from what I understand.I thought it was neat and just wanted to show it.-HH everyone! 002.webp006.webp009.webp005.webp

That is a great gift. Being that it has a family connection definitely makes it priceless. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Relic. It was a honor to receive it,even thow I think it might have made a few relatives a little upset.

That is incredible! I would treasure that!

Now you did it! Soon the PC police will be knocking on your door for displaying the Stars and Bars, along with all the rest of the history they don't want anyone to know about.

Just kidding. I think it's a great piece.
