Our Town Was ATTACKED !

It was a warm June morning in the year 2008 . The tranquility was interupted by cannon fire ! A Pirate ship was approaching . Our local Militia took positions on the town dock , to try to ward off the intruders , but to no avail . The battle lasted only a few minutes , but it seemed like hours . Children were running , women were fainting , dogs were barking .

The bloodthirsty swashbucklers made there way directly to the bank on Main street .

The lady behind the glass window was terrified . She told them that since they had no account , they would have to show some form of identification . The leader shouted back " IDENTIFICATION......HERE'S MY IDENTIFICATION" as he waved his saber in her face . The teller had no choice but to comply with their demands .

The government sent back-up , but the Pirates were long gone ..........a few were spotted drinking in a local pub !
