Each year, for about the past 20 years, I have set money aside from metal detecting to purchase a gold coin. Here is last years purchase. It was just under $200.00. Below are my clad coins from today's 3 hr hunt.

Very cool and great idea. I was going to do the same with silver coins but I wonder if I should just do gold too.
