well this week has been all joy joy. Was coming home monday driving in some really nasty weather (yep 0% visibility snow again for Michigan - Yuck!!) when I got to my driveway. mind you I had already picked up my 100Lb American Waste garbage bin after something tipped it over. I am thinking Opussom from the paw prints. When I find it tipped over and the garbage bags ripped open. This time I think it was coyotes and a lot of them from the paw prints in the snow. never had that happen before in my 38 years. So a bit fumming I was picking up the garbage they had thrown all down the driveway before it could get covered in snow and possible caught in my snowblower if I ever snowblow again. In my ticked off mind I forgot where I was stepping and my left foot hid the lake of ice in our driveway. Right knee smashed into the ground with 255 Lbs of me behind it plus whatever I was carrying grocery wise. Fell back and slammed my shoulders into the ground and my head. Thank God I have had my dad's scarf wrapped around my head all winter because I laid in the snow for a good minute screaming in pain from my messed up knee. getting up was interesting since my knees aren't the best anyways. imagine a walrus trying to breakdance and you get the picture. (If you can laugh at yourself from time to time, life is just dull). So the next day I had another item to add to my doctor visit other than my double ear infection. Doc was worried about me knocking my head but that turned out ok. Its across my shoulder blades and the left tendon on my right knee got seriously messed up. wrap it and heat, docs orders and no heavy lifting with shoulders. so no CRH boxwise at the moment. But on the good side, I got another piece of silver from coinstar. a 1954 CAN dime. Not much but its $1.18 in my pocket.

On a sidenote - first post-op chemo appointment went good. 1 down, 15 more visits to go.

sincerely, Garoulady

Thanks for the update, glad you're still winning against cancer.

I says it once and I says it again: GarouLady is the Heisenberg of coin roll hunting.

::goggles what heisenberg is:: LOL

good golly Lady! Someone needs to find you a protective medallion! Hope the pain isn't too consuming, & hoping they gave you some good pain meds. Hang in there.

Maybe I need to borrow you some traps to keep them dang critters out of the trash. Sounds like a coon issue. Hope you find some relief from the pain. Ice should give way to sloppy mud puddles soon.
