Went out early this morning to a trusty spot. I couldn’t get over a signal over a 16 on my Nox, the bugs were as big as eagles, I had to detect up hill (both ways) and I thought I saw snow flakes ( it was actually dandruff from the giant bugs😳 anyway, I could even find a memorial, I did find some buttons and a musket ball, but I decided to call it quits and was headed back to my truck when I got a scratchy 30-31 up next to a small tree at about 6” and out popped a nice 1909 barber quarter, it made my day and saved my hunt.
Good luck out there
